Can I redeem my miles for a magazine subscription as a gift to be delivered to someone else's address?
Yes, you may order magazine subscriptions as a gift for someone else. In the Shipping Information section, enter the recipient's name and address. However, you should enter your own email address to receive email confirmation of your order. Please note that changing the shipping information will not update your MileagePlus account profile. Subscriptions are only available to be delivered within the 48 contiguous US only.

Is there a limit to the number of subscriptions I may receive?
No, the number of subscriptions you may receive depends on the mileage balance in your MileagePlus account.

How do I find out how many miles I have to redeem?

How long does it take to receive my subscription(s)?
Please allow 6-12 weeks to begin receiving your new subscription(s).

Can I earn miles for magazine subscriptions that I purchase?
Unfortunately, at this time only miles may be redeemed to receive magazine subscriptions.

If I am a current subscriber to a particular publication(s), can I use miles to renew or extend my subscription(s)?
No, Magazine Awards are intended for first-time subscribers only.

If I cancel my subscription, will I get my miles back?
No, once you redeem miles for a subscription, your miles are non-refundable.

After I have ordered my magazine subscriptions, how can I verify that the miles have been decremented from my account?
When you redeem miles for a magazine subscription online, your miles will be decremented immediately from your account. Click here to login, view your account balance, and track any recent activity.

I ordered magazine subscriptions over 12 weeks ago and still have not started receiving my subscription. What should I do?
Contact the Magazine Awards customer service center at 1-800-961-8723 to review your account.

If I order the same magazine twice, will I receive 2 copies or 2 subscriptions?
No, only one subscription per address will be delivered by the publication.

Why do you need my email address?
Your email address is used to return a confirmation of your order.

Is the personal order information I provide kept confidential?
Yes. We strongly believe in the preservation of your privacy. The information you provide is used to complete the magazine order process and will not opt you into further United communications, or be sold to another party. Your information will be forwarded to Cap Systems to process your selections. Cap Systems will provide only your name and address to the magazine publishers. You will, however, receive confirmation e-mails as a result of your subscription. Please note that changing the shipping information at checkout will not update your MileagePlus account profile.

What happens if I enter the wrong MileagePlus number?
You will be notified on the next screen that the order will not be processed because you have entered an invalid MileagePlus number. Please check your MileagePlus account number and attempt your order again. If you still experience problems, contact MileagePlus customer service at 1-800-421-4655.

Who is Synapse Group Inc. and CAP Systems?
CAP Systems is a division of Synapse Group Inc., which is a marketer of magazine subscriptions serving loyalty programs including United MileagePlus®.

Can I have my magazine subscriptions sent to separate addresses?
No. All magazines in your order must be sent to one address only.

What should I do if I want my subscription sent to an address different from the one on my order?
If you would like your magazine subscription sent to an address different from the one that appears on your order confirmation, please contact magazine customer service at 1-800-961-8723.
